First of all, follow me on Facebook and Twitter! 7 days ago I got the Xiaomi Mi Band 2, a “smartwatch” for 20€ that I bought at Gearbest.com. I’ve been using it every day ever since and this is what I think about it. The box of the Mi band is small but has everything you need, the watch and the charger. The smartwatch pieces together with the wristband and sits comfortably on your wrist. The Mi Band has a small OLED panel that can display various information, although it’s tough to see in direct sunlight. I need to tell you that the panel is not a touchscreen, there is, however, a touch space below that allows you to alternate through the many functions of the band. You can count steps taken, burned calories, measure your heart rate and of course… see the time! The smartwatch works in conjunction with the Mi Fit app where it stores all the data and allows for sleep management. My heart rate measurements and sleep management are far from perfect, but they’re extremely precise for the price! The smartwatch is IP67 waterproof, so don’t worry about taking it to the shower. The smartwatch can also be programmed to display incoming calls and vibrates when you get notifications from predefined apps. The alarm clock that can be programmed in the Mi Fit app also vibrates the gadget! The battery is extremely good! When I saw it was a 70mAh battery I was kind of worried it was not gone last long but here I am, after almost 7 days without charging the device, and it still has 24% of battery left. For 20€ it’s definitely worth it and you should just buy it cause I guarantee you will not find such a good smartwatch for such a small price! Follow me on Facebook and Twitter!
