The Oneplus 5T was an amazing budget smartphone as we are already used to see with OnePlus. We're just a couple of days away from the launch of the 6 and it already seems impressive. The device should be launched May 16th and I hope the rumours are all true.
In an early teaser presented by the company, we can see that the smartphone is now made of glass instead of aluminium. In the video, there seem to be 3 colours: black, white, grey. As the phone may be made of glass we might see wireless charging this year! And it seems it might be waterproof
On the front, the notch is a current trend and expected, as is the usual FullHD resolution. The lack of an upgrade when it comes to screen resolution is disappointing but the smartphone as a 6'3-inches AMOLED panel. The screen-to-body ratio will be of at least 83% and the screen has a 19:9 ratio.

On the back, there's a centered vertical dual camera system which includes a 16MP and a 20MP lenses with a f/1.7 aperture on both. So shots taken with the 5T and the 6 might be really similar... And we can expect the 20MP camera to work its wonders at night when it kicks in and software combines 4 pixels into one lowering the amount of grain on each picture.We have no idea of what Oneplus will offer when it comes to stabilization but between EIS or OIS we obviously prefer the second option. The fingerprint reader will be on the back right under those lenses. The front camera as a f/2.0 aperture and 20MP of resolution, which can be great if Oneplus works on its software. It will also be used for the company's FaceID.
Also expected is the Snapdragon 845 amongst 6 or 8 GB of RAM, the Adreno 630 and 128GB or 256GB of non-expandable storage. Which will make the smartphone extremely smooth and responsive with the new version of Android 8.1. The bigger 3450mAh battery will support fast charging and it might turn the smartphone into the battery life king of 2018 as the 5T was last year.There's no idea on what the price might be but it will probably be the same as last year's model, which means the phone is a flagship at a midrange price point!
